Chris Hutchinson

Facilitator and coach supporting senior leaders and teams in power of collaboration, team health, strategic thinking, effective communications, and executive leadership and team development.
He has over 20 years coaching and facilitating frontline, management, leadership, and executive leaders and teams, and over 30 years of leadership experience in large, mid-sized, and small profit-based, non-profit, and governmental organizations.
Chris brings real-world experience to support leaders who feel the weight of their organization on their shoulders and are frustrated by teams not achieving their potential. He helps clients envision possibilities, get clear about the outcomes they want, and put into practice new ways of thinking and acting to get results.
Chris has a strong background in organizational improvement, change management, and leadership development. He has extensive quality system implementation and business process improvement experience, as well as significant communications, training, team building, conflict management, and negotiating skills. He is a sought-after speaker on leadership and teamwork topics. Chris is an expert in designing interactive workshops for achieving the desired outcomes, whether that is to involve everyone in making a collaborative decision, or to help people in learning new skills.

Prior to founding Trebuchet Group in 2002, Chris served as a military officer in the US Air Force Civil Engineering, a process engineer for Motorola manufacturing semiconductors, a quality director for Motorola’s broadband communications, and the general manager for Coachville. He earned his MBA from Oklahoma City University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He has received the Distinguished Toastmaster recognition.
Chris captured many practical leadership lessons in his book, Ripple: A Field Manual for Leadership that Works, which was published in 2015 along with an accompanying Ripple Workbook.
